Racefy Network ("Racefy", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use racefy.com (the "Site") and our related services (together, the "Service"), how we use and share that information, and the choices you have. This policy is designed to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

Information you give us directly

  • Account information: name, email address, password (stored hashed), and optional profile details.
  • Listing information (for event organisers and sellers): business name, event details, contact information, and any media you upload.
  • Payment information: when you purchase a listing, subscription, or other paid feature, our payment processor collects your payment card details. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Communications: messages you send us via forms or in-app chat.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: pages viewed, features used, links clicked, search queries, and referring URLs.
  • Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and approximate location derived from your IP address.

Information from third parties

  • Authentication providers (e.g. Google sign-in), if you choose to sign in via a third party.

Service providers (data processors)

We use trusted third parties to operate the Service. These include:

  • Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure.
  • Base44 — application hosting platform.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • Google (Analytics) — analytics.

These providers only process your information on our instructions and in accordance with their own privacy obligations.

Other sharing

  • Affiliate partners — Where you click on an affiliate link, the partner may receive information indicating you came from Racefy. This is used to attribute any resulting sale or sign-up.
  • Legal and safety — We may disclose information where required by law, in response to lawful requests by public authorities, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Racefy, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers — In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your information.

We do not sell your personal information.

7. International data transfers

Some of our service providers (including Supabase, Google, and Stripe) may store or process personal information outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle your information consistently with the APPs.

8. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as is necessary to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.

Racefy is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us via our Contact page and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, if changes are material, notify you through the Service or by email.
